Course Approvals

ALL Community Education courses are nationally approved and have successfully satisfied the NAB requirements for
continuing education.

All long term care administrators, such as assisted living managers and nursing home administrators can receive NAB approved continuing education. There are two states that do not automatically accept NAB approval: Kansas and Missouri.

All educational offerings have been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.

Requirements for Utah

Health Facility Administrators

During each two year period commencing on June 1 of each odd numbered year, a licensee shall be required to complete not less than 40 hours of qualified professional education directly related to the licensee's professional practice.
