Course Approvals

ALL Community Education courses are nationally approved and have successfully satisfied the NAB requirements for
continuing education.

All long term care administrators, such as assisted living managers and nursing home administrators can receive NAB approved continuing education. There are two states that do not automatically accept NAB approval: Kansas and Missouri.

All educational offerings have been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.

Continuing Education
Requirements for North Dakota

Assisted Living Administrators
None Specified

Basic Care Administrators
Administrators shall attend at least twelve continuing education hours per year relating to care and services for residents.

Nursing Home Administrators
20 hours of continuing education must be obtained each calendar year except during the first year of licensure.
