Course Approvals

ALL Community Education courses are nationally approved and have successfully satisfied the NAB requirements for
continuing education.

All long term care administrators, such as assisted living managers and nursing home administrators can receive NAB approved continuing education. There are two states that do not automatically accept NAB approval: Kansas and Missouri.

All educational offerings have been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Boards of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.

Continuing Education
Requirements for Idaho

Assisted Living & Residential Care
Applicants for annual recertification/renewal shall be required to have a minimum of twelve (12) hours of continuing education courses within the preceding twelve (12) month period.

Nursing Home Administrators
Applicants for renewal of license shall be required to attend a minimum of twenty (20) clock hours of courses approved under Subsection 200.01 within the preceding twelve month period.
